UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs. Malott

Mike Malott

UFC - Ultimate Fighting Championship

UFC presents mixed martial arts as a card of bouts, each fought inside a fenced cage and each blending striking with grappling. The night moves from bout to bout across weight classes, with the card building toward the main event that closes the program. Standard bouts are scheduled for three rounds of five minutes, while main events and title bouts are set for five. A bout can end early with a finish; when it goes the distance, judges decide it, scoring every round on a ten-point system that weighs effective striking and grappling, aggression and control of the cage.
