Zero fees explained
No buyer fees.
No surprises at checkout.
The price you see is the price you pay. Evenz does not add separate booking fees, service fees, or processing fees on top of the ticket price. Shipping for physical tickets and applicable taxes may be charged separately but are shown before you place your order.
What a checkout looks like

Illustrative example. Shipping, where a ticket requires physical delivery, and taxes where applicable are shown before you pay.
So how does Evenz make money?
Evenz earns its revenue inside the ticket price you're shown, not as a fee added at the end. The ticket price includes a margin retained by Evenz and reflect the price charged by the seller or supplier, including that seller's or supplier's own margin. Everything that makes the marketplace work (the platform, the payment handling, the support team, the guarantee behind your order) is already accounted for in the number on the listing.
That's the whole model. There is no separate booking, service, or payment-processing fee added at the end of the flow. Shipping for physical tickets and applicable taxes are disclosed before you place your order.
Why do we do it this way
Ticket buyers have been trained to expect the price to change between the listing and the payment screen. You find a ticket at a price that seems fair, you go to pay, and fees appear at the last step — often adding a significant amount to what you thought you were spending.
We think that's a bad way to treat customers. It makes it impossible to compare tickets honestly, because the number you're comparing isn't the number you'll pay. By not adding separate bookings, service, or payment-processing fees, we aim to make ticket-price comparisons clearer. Your final total, including any applicable shipping and taxes, is shown before you place your order.
What's always included
- No separate booking fee
- No separate service fee
- No separate payment processing fee
- No separate fee to browse, search, save events, or create an account
What zero fees does not mean
It does not mean every ticket is sold at face value. Evenz is a resale marketplace, and prices move with demand — some tickets sit above face value, some below. Ticket prices may be set or influenced by sellers and suppliers.
Zero fees mean something narrower and more precise: Evenz does not add separate booking, service, or payment-processing fees on top of the displayed ticket price. Only physical-ticket shipping charges and applicable taxes may apply and are disclosed before you place your order.
Delivery and taxes
Where a ticket requires physical delivery, any shipping cost is shown before you pay, not after. Where taxes apply, they are shown before you pay. Nothing appears only after you've entered your card details or placed your order.
What does this mean at checkout
Before you place your order, checkout shows the final total, including the ticket price, any applicable shipping charge, applicable taxes, and any optional add-ons you choose. There is no separate booking, service, or payment-processing fee added after the ticket price is shown. That's the promise, and it's the same for every event, every ticket, every time.
