Bull Riding

PBR - Professional Bull Riders

PBR, Professional Bull Riders, turns an arena into a rodeo ground, spreading a thick layer of dirt over the floor and building bucking chutes and steel pens before the first bull comes in. Riders take turns climbing aboard bucking bulls, each one aiming to stay on for eight seconds. A rider holds a rope with one hand and keeps the other hand free for the whole ride. Rides that reach eight seconds are scored by judges, with up to 50 points for the rider and up to 50 for the bull, so the animal's performance counts as much as the rider's.
