The matchup
WWE presents professional wrestling to a live crowd as a full card of matches, pairing genuine athleticism with stories whose results are decided in advance. Every match starts with an entrance, as each wrestler walks to the ring to entrance music while the crowd greets them. The audience is part of the show. Heroes draw cheers and villains draw boos, and the reaction in the room feeds the drama in the ring. Across the card, fans follow the rivalries and alliances that link one match to the next.
