John Primer is an American singer and guitarist from Chicago, IL. He is best known for his work in the Chicago blues scene, having played behind Junior Wells in the house band at Theresa's Lounge, as well as in the bands of Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and Magic Slim. In recent years, Primer has undertaken a solo career, carrying forward the traditional Windy City sound into the 21st century.
