FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is an American groove metal band formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, California by Zoltán Báthory, guitarist of Hungarian origin, formerly U.P.O. bass player. Besides Báthory, the group includes former Motograter and Ghost Machine vocalist Ivan Moody, drummer Charlie Engen, bassist Chris Kale and guitarist Jason Hook. With the rhythm in the center of the band's attention, recorded songs are translated into explosive live jams, where driving drums prevents the crowd from standing still. At their concerts, they always knew how to make a crowd come to life and make them scream. After all, it is at concerts that we can afford to be what we are, surrounded by like-minded people. Concerts are a special therapy to put aside all our problems and give ourselves completely in the music' embrace.
