The Utah Symphony Orchestra is a professional orchestra based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Abravanel Hall is the orchestra's primary venue. In addition to its subscription concerts in Salt Lake City, the orchestra tours the Intermountain West, performing in communities throughout Utah. The orchestra performs four times a year at Salt Lake's Capitol Theatre with the Utah Opera. The Utah Symphony and Utah Opera also have a summer residency at the Deer Valley Music Festival in Park City, Utah. The Utah State Legislature provides funding for educational concerts to the orchestra. The Utah Valley Symphony has a division based at Utah Valley University's Noorda Center for the Performing Arts in Orem, Utah.
