About the Artist
The Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project is a Canadian musical group that combines elements of bluegrass, country, and rock music with humorous and irreverent lyrics. The band was formed in 2007 and consists of five members, including guitarist and lead vocalist Carl Beauchemin, banjo player and backing vocalist Vincent Dubé, bassist and backing vocalist Nicolas Dubé, fiddler Guillaume Bourque, and drummer Mathieu Arsenault.
The band's music is characterized by their fast-paced instrumental arrangements and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, which often poke fun at rural stereotypes and Quebecois culture. They have released several albums, including "The Devil's Rope" and "Sons of Anarchy" and have gained a dedicated following in Quebec and beyond.
The Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project has become known for their high-energy live performances, which often feature the band members in over-the-top costumes and engaging with the audience. They have been praised for their ability to blend traditional bluegrass music with a modern, irreverent twist, and have helped to popularize the genre in Quebec and beyond.
