Les Louanges

We owe Les Louanges to Vincent Roberge. Singer-songwriter, director and multi-instrumentalist, if he is part of the new generation of artists who deconstruct genres, he has above all succeeded in creating his own. This jazzy-groovy pop shines on his debut album La nuit est une panthère (2018), crowned with the Juno for Francophone Album of the Year and named to the short list of the Polaris Music Prize.

A few months later, that debut effort found itself on countless year-end charts and quickly, critical acclaim turned into popular success. Full houses multiplied, international invitations too: a first visit to Europe at the Trans musicales de Rennes, then to the United States to take part in the SXSW festival and a first headlining tour in France, including a selection at the INOUïS of the Printemps de Bourges.

After winning numerous prestigious awards, Les Louanges and La nuit est une panthère garnered nine nominations at the 2019 ADISQ Galas, where it ultimately won three Félix: Album of the Year - Alternative, Album of the Year - Critics' Choice and Arrangements of the Year. In the spring of 2021, Les Louanges returns with Pigeons, a resolutely sexy single that evokes the imminent arrival of sunny days. Presented as a television premiere at Star Académie, the latter has more than 500,000 plays on digital platforms and reached the Top 25 of BDS radio stations.

The young prodigy now presents Chaussée, a catchy new song with an assumed 80s sound, as he prepares to unveil his second album in 2022.
