The band Panchiko is shrouded in mystery and carries with it a beautiful story. In 2016, a user posted a photo on 4chan of a demo CD they had discovered in a second-hand store in Nottingham, titled D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L, reportedly released in 2000. The listener uploaded the ripped audio to various sites, causing it to circulate on web forums. A group of fans came together to solve the origin story of the mysterious disc, until eventually a long-defunct, local band from Nottingham called Panchiko discovered that their album (of which only 30 copies existed) had gone viral on the internet decades later.
