Kami Kehoe

Kami Kehoe writes alt-rock songs with pop hooks sharp enough to carry them, and a delivery that leans defiant rather than wounded. The material comes out of her own experience, mostly of love and the damage it does, and she does not soften much of it on the way to the chorus.

The arrangements sit between guitar-driven rock and something glossier, dark in tone but built around melodies that resolve. It is a young catalogue that has grown quickly, and the writing has stayed personal and direct even as the sound around it has got bigger.
