Purple Disco Machine

Purple Disco Machine is Tino Piontek, a Dresden‑born DJ and producer who makes glossy, funk‑and‑soul‑driven nu‑disco/house—think fat basslines, 70s/80s synths, and very hooky, radio‑friendly vocals. He’s become one of the main modern disco hitmakers off tracks and remixes like “Hypnotized,” “Dopamine,” “Fireworks,” and official reworks for artists such as Lady Gaga and Lizzo (earning a Grammy in 2023 for his remix of “About Damn Time”), and his DJ sets tend to be upbeat, feel‑good, and extremely danceable rather than dark or aggressive.
