sombr

sombr is the stage name of Shane Boose, a singer-songwriter who taught himself music production as a young teenager and broke through with a run of widely heard singles. He writes and produces his own songs, and his first full-length album, I Barely Know Her, was co-produced with a single trusted studio collaborator.

His music has its roots in alternative rock, with a strong pull toward pop running through it. Older rock bands, the Rolling Stones among them, sit near the core of his influences.
