NYE

Following its 2024 sell-out run Nye returns to the National Theatre stage starring Michael Sheen. Book Nye tickets onLondon Theatre.

Nye is a play that tells the story of Aneurin ‘Nye’ Bevan, the impactful politician who created the NHS. This gripping tale begins at the end with Nye terminally ill in a hospital bed. As he creeps toward death, his memories have almost the quality of a hallucination as medical personnel morph into a wide range of people from Nye’s past. Nye recounts his career, from his years in school to local politics and the House of Commons.
