About
Alabama can rightly claim to be the band that made country music what it is today. Formed by three cousins in 1969, the band reached their peak in the 1980s with a blend of southern rock and twangy country balladry. This formula has influenced many artists, from Garth Brooks to Luke Bryan, in the subsequent years.
Among the group's best-known tracks are "Love in the First Degree," "Mountain Music," "Song of the South," and "I'm In A Hurry (And Don't Know Why)."
